Juice Box Rockets
Ever wonder what to do with all of the juice boxes your children go through every week? There’s got to be something better to do with them than just recycling them, right? Right! We’ve found a solution; check out how to create this eco-friendly craft below.
- Step 1: Gather your materials. You’ll need:
- Two empty Juicy Juice juice boxes (drinking them is the easy part!)
- Permanent markers, choose whichever colors you prefer
- Tape
- Construction paper
- Striped straws
- Step 2: Break apart the Juicy Juice juice box; start by flipping up the corners and follow the shape along. Make sure to rinse it well and dry it off so that it will be easy to doodle on. Draw the rocket ship of your choice on the thinner sides of the juice box. They’re usually the sides with the nutrition facts and ingredients, but that may vary depending on which size juice box you’re using. Be creative and have fun with the design.
- Step 3: Cut the juice box around the shape of the rocket ship that you and your little one created. Throw away the excess juice box pieces. Cut a 3×3-inch square piece of construction paper and roll it into a circle. Tape the circle together with two small pieces of tape and then tape the top of the tube.
- Step 4: Stick the straw into the paper cylinder that you created in step 3. Make sure it’s secured tightly. Then tape them both to the back of the rocket ship.
- Step 5: Use your finished Juicy Juice juice box rocket ships for fun and games that will allow for endless hours of entertainment.
