Apple Pie Milkshake

This recipe proves that America’s favorite pie tastes just as delicious in liquid form. Apple Juicy Juice® 100% juice and fresh apples sautéed with apple pie spice get whirled in the blender with vanilla ice cream to create this new autumnal classic.

2 tablespoons butter
2 pie apples (such as Braeburn or Granny Smith), peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup Apple Juicy Juice® 100% juice
1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice, plus more for dusting
4 cups (packed) vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream

Melt butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add apples, and sprinkle with apple pie spice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft, but not falling apart, about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in Apple Juicy Juice® 100% juice and let mixture cool completely in pan before continuing.

Combine cooled apple mixture and ice cream in blender, and blend until smooth. Top with whipped cream and a light dusting of apple pie spice.

Makes 4 (12-ounce) or 6 (8-ounce) servings
