Bottle Cap Ladybugs

One of our favorite signs of spring is spotting ladybugs in the grass, but sightings can be few and far between. Make your kids smile by creating your own bright and cute creatures using leftover Juicy Juice™ bottle caps. This craft project is simple enough for the whole family to participate. Here’s how it’s done:

1. Gather your materials. You’ll need red paint, a paintbrush, googly eyes, a black marker and juice bottle caps. Instead of throwing them out along with the bottle, save your Juicy Juice bottle caps in preparation for this craft.

2. Paint the bottle caps a bright red. They might need two coats depending on the paint you’ve chosen. Let the paint dry before doing the next step.

3. Using the black marker, draw a small black base that will be the “head” of the ladybug. Then, draw in the dots in any arrangement you like. Finally, use the glue stick to attach two googly eyes onto the black base.

4. Last but not least, take them outside! Your kids will love playing with them in the grass.
