Brighten up your 4th of July celebration with these patriotic red, white, and blue crispy rice treats!
Step 1: Melt 6 tbsp unsalted butter on low heat then add most of a 16 oz bag of marshmallows and stir until melted.
Step 2: Remove from heat and stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 6 cups crispy rice cereal. Optional, fold in mini M&Ms or sprinkles to the mixture
Step 3: Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the mixture evenly into the pan, then allow to set for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Melt red colored chocolate candies for 30 seconds in the microwave. Stir and reheat 30 second until melted. Repeat with white and blue candies. Drizzle over the crispy rice mixture.
