Upcycled Binoculars
Oh look! A fun craft to make kid-friendly binoculars. What will they spot? Gather your supplies, your Juicy Juice 100% juice, and let’s get to crafting.
Supplies:
- Paper Rolls
- Markers
- Hole Punch
- String
- Scissors (adult assistance)
- Hot Glue Gun (adults only)
STEP 1:
Let’s start by decorating the top of the binoculars. Your child can color one of the paper rolls any way they like. Keep in mind that you will be cutting this roll and opening it
STEP 2:
Cut the roll lengthwise and open it. You may need to stretch and flatten the middle.
STEP 3:
Use a hot glue gun along the edges of the cut roll and carefully press the edges lengthwise onto two more paper rolls to make the shape of the binoculars.
Now is the perfect time for a Juicy Juice break while the glue cools!
STEP 4:
Punch a hole in the corner where the cut and whole rolls meet. Repeat on the other side. See the photo below for reference.
Cut a piece of string slightly longer than necklace length and thread each end through these holes.
STEP 5:
Tie off the ends of the string and you’re done! Great job making those cute binoculars! Now let’s grab our Juicy Juice, go outside, and see what the little ones can find with them.
