Fall Pumpkin Seed Tree Art
One of the best parts of Fall is enjoying the glorious colors of changing leaves. With this fun craft, you and your little ones can take in the wonder of this special season and enjoy it for years to come. Best of all, your kids can design their very own tree to feature some of their favorite colors.
Materials:
- 1 sheet of construction paper for each tree you want to make
- Brown, gold, red, and orange markers
- A handful of dried pumpkin seeds
- A bottle of glue
Step 1.
Begin by tracing the outline of your tree’s trunk and branches with a brown pen. You can copy our design or create your own.
Step 2.
Using your brown markers, fill in your tree’s outline. You can even use the red and yellow markers as highlights to give the tree more texture.
Step 3.
Take your handful of dried pumpkin seeds and use your gold, red and orange markers to color each one. Set the seeds aside for a few minutes to give them time to dry.
Step 4.
Using a small dot of glue on the back of each seed, carefully paste them over your tree’s branches to give it foliage. Try alternating colors to give your tree a unique pattern, or stick to your favorite shades. Once the glue has dried, your masterpiece is ready to be displayed.
