Dino-Mite Father’s Day Card

If you’re looking for a cute way for your little one to show Dad some love on Father’s Day, this card is sure to put a smile on his face. Help your kiddo let Dad know that he is just DINO-mite!

Materials:

• Cardstock
• Green construction paper
• Orange construction paper
• Two googly eyes
• Black marker
• Pink felt
• Green felt
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Pencil

Step 1:

First, fold your cardstock vertically in half.

Step 2:

Next, use your pencil to draw the outline of a dinosaur on green paper. You can follow the outline of a picture of a cartoon dinosaur, if needed.

Step 3:

Now, help your little one cut out the dino.

Step 4:

Use your pencil to draw dinosaur spikes on the orange construction paper while using your dinosaur as a guide, making sure that the spikes fit the dinosaur’s back.

Step 5:

Now help your kid cut out your orange dino spikes so that they can be glued to the green dinosaur.

Step 6:

Then glue your dino onto the front page of your cardstock.

Step 7:

Grab your green and pink felt to help your kiddo cut out circles. Use big green circles for dinosaur spots, and tiny pink circles for dinosaur cheeks. Glue those felt circles onto your dino.

Step 8:

Next, glue googly eyes onto the face of your dino.

Step 9:

Give your dinosaur a big smile and eyelashes with the marker.

Lastly, write Dad a special message!
