Reusable Water Balloons

Let’s make a splash with a set of DIY water balloons that you can reuse for hours of fun! They may not technically be balloons, but we promise they’re just as fun and even easier to clean up. Grab some Juicy Juice 100% juice and let’s create some backyard memories.

Supplies:

  • Sponges
  • Rubber bands
  • Scissors (adult assistance)

All the supplies including sponges, rubber bands, juicy juice boxes, and scissors

STEP 1:

Cut each sponge into 1-inch wide strips. You can use a variety of sponges for a fun, multicolor creation.

STEP 2:

Clump the sponge strips together, keeping the ends as even as possible. Wrap a rubber band around the center of the strips to cinch them into a ball shape.

STEP 3:

When you’re ready to play, soak the sponge balls in water and get throwing! When playtime is over, rinse and squeeze them out before letting them dry.

Don’t worry if the balls harden after use. They’ll soften up when rewetted.
