DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs

A relaxing bubble bath is one of the best ways to take a moment for yourself. These DIY Bath Bombs are an exciting craft to make with your little ones and the perfect way for moms to make their day even more luxurious!

Materials:

1 Large bowl

1 Whisk

4 Bath bomb molds

½ cup of baking soda

½ cup of citric acid

½ cup of Epsom salts

3 tablespoons of essential oil (your scent of choice)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 tablespoons of water

4 tablespoons of food coloring

 

Step one:

Add ½ cup of baking soda, ½ cup of Epsom salts and ½ cup of citric acid to the bowl. Once added whisk together to ensure the dry ingredients are evenly blended.

Step two:

In a separate cup or jar, add 1 tablespoon of water, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of essential oil and 4 tablespoons of red food coloring. Once added mix together.

 

Step three:

Start off by adding small amounts of the liquid to the bowl at a time. Once all added, mix in the liquid together thoroughly.

Step four:

Once mixed, begin to add your mixture to both halves of the mold and seal. Let sit for ten minutes.

Step five:

After ten minutes loosen the mold with a spoon and remove both halves of the mold. Then set aside bath bombs to dry for twenty minutes and then ta-dah, enjoy!
