Juicy Tangerine Puffer Fish

Fish out this recipe for a great after-school snack for the little ones. Please even the pickiest of eaters when you present them with this fruity school of fish. Sneak in the nutrients they need with the high content of vitamins E and C in these Juicy Tangerine Puffer Fish.

Step 1: Gather your materials. You will need broccoli, blueberries, tangerines, baby carrots and edible eyes.

Step 2: Cut the tangerines and baby carrots into slices. The baby carrots should be sliced vertically and horizontally. Once the baby carrots are sliced, carve them into shapes to create the mouths and fins for the fish.

Step 3: Now it’s time to create the plate. Place the orange slices in a triangle formation and then begin to build the fish around each one. Cut the broccoli into small pieces and place them at the bottom of the plate. Then place the blueberries so that they look like bubbles floating up from the mouths of the fish. Present this snack to your children to put smiles on their faces!

Monkey Snack Crackers

While every snack is fuel to help your little ones monkey around, these tasty critters sure know how to hit the spot. With just a few ingredients, you can help your kids craft these cute treats that are as fun to look at as they are to eat!

Step 1: Gather all your ingredients. You will need:

Step 2: Begin by arranging your crackers in a circle on your plate. Next, carefully smear a dab of peanut butter on each cracker and spread it evenly. Then stick one banana slice on each cracker and two raisin eyes as shown below.

Step 3: Now, place two pieces of toasted oat cereal on each side to act as ears. Finally, snap a smile-shaped piece off of each pretzel and use a little peanut butter to stick it onto the center of each banana for a mouth.

Juicy Nightcrawler Cup

A springtime rain shower is one of the best times to curl up indoors with a good movie, craft, or activity. We all know that after heavy showers, beautiful flowers bloom. But there’s also another thing that happens right after a springtime rain: the worms come out! We have the ideal snack that’s fit for a bird and your little one. There’s no better time to make it than when you are cozy inside while it’s raining.

Step 1: Gather all your ingredients. You’ll need: four Strawberry Watermelon Juicy Juice 100% Juice boxes (or your favorite flavor), four pudding cups, chocolate cream sandwich cookies, and four to eight gummy worms depending on preference.

Step 2: This is the fun part where your little one gets to mash up all the cookies! Scoop about ¾ of each pudding cup into cups of your choice. Lay the cookies flat on the plate and take a spoon to start gently mashing. Feel free to break up larger chunks with your hands too.

Step 3: Slide the gummy worm half way into the pudding and rest one side near the top of the cup. Sprinkle on the cookie chunks to taste, making what looks like dirt.

Grab a Strawberry Watermelon Juicy Juice® 100% Juice box, a spoon, and enjoy your rainy day snack! We bet your little ones will be chirping for more the next time it rains!

A Snack Fit for a Lion

Step 1: Gather your ingredients. You’ll need:

1 sliced strawberry
3 small clementines
1 slice cheddar cheese
1 circular crustless sandwich (your child’s favorite nut butter or jam sandwich)

Step 2: Place the crustless sandwich in the middle of your plate. This will be the face of your deliciously ferocious lion. Peel your clementines and arrange the segments around the sandwich to make your mane.

Step 3: This is the step to go ‘wild’ on! The face of your courageous lion will be made using the cheese, syrup and a strawberry. Cut the top off of your strawberry and halve it. Place the sliced strawberry on the center of the sandwich as your nose. Fold two corners of the cheese slice and carefully rip them off to create two small triangles. These will be your ears. We will then use the chocolate syrup to create the other facial features. Gently squeeze the chocolate bottle to form two button eyes, whiskers and a smile.

Grab the Juicy Juice 100% juice box of your choice (we paired our lion with Strawberry Watermelon) and enjoy this treat with your own ferocious little one! Don’t forget to show us your roaring lion #JuicyJuicecrew
